No Mago, I'm not gone, I'm still here. I keep telling myself I need to post and then I get depressed or stressed and dont. I've been a bit worried the last few weeks. I went to the opthamologist and it seems I could have glaucoma. There will be a peripheal vision test on the 19th and if I have lost any vision then they will start the drops. I researched glaucoma of course and it seems the statistics are in my favor. Problem is that I almost always seem to fall into the smaller of the percentages in most things and so I do worry abit about going blind. That would just be horrific. When I have had lumps in my breast I have always been pretty confident that they weren't malignant and they never were. I am not confident about this at all. Hopefully the test will be fine and all this anxiety will have been for nothing.

good luck with the tests-- some meds cans cause symptoms of glaucoma-- sometimes glaucoma itself-- or if the med is stopped it may reverse itself.
either way-- hopefully you caught it in time. topamax is a bigie on one of these-- is that one that you take?
anyhow-- hope it works out in your favor.
we are close in age- and i have had vision problems for a long time-- i keep hopin it's just age.

Called in German "Grüner Star". High inner pressure, mostly drops for treatment. Worriesome. Don't be stressed here, I was just becoming a little nervous.
Remembers me that I should visit the eye-doctor again, its some years since I saw him. And I realize that my vision changed. The check of the eye's background should be done from time to time.

Glaucoma runs in my family. My grandmother had it. I really should get checked. She did very well using special eyedrops and her vision was wonderful after she got the cataracts on her eyes removed.
